Relaxing more into the bed with his arm around Michelle, Josh pressed another kiss to her cheek. Shrugging slightly at her question. “Eh.. It was alright.” He answered truthfully. “Just another hot day outside.. And I apologize if I stink, I have yet to get a shower.” He chuckled softly as he nuzzled his face into her neck placing a soft kiss to the warm skin. “I missed you this week.. It was like every time I left for work you were asleep and when I got home you were already in bed.” He pouted slightly pressing a soft kiss to her shoulder. “But that’s why I look forward to Friday’s because then I get to come home early and see my beautiful wife.” Josh smiled against the flesh of her shoulder before pressing another kiss to it.

Michelle grinned as he placed kisses on her cheek, neck and shoulder. “I like it when you’re home too. It means that I get to sleep.” she teased, turning in his arms to face him. She touched her fingertips against his cheek, as if trying to memorize his face. She had missed him so much it hurt. She tried not to show it too much, she knew they needed money, but she couldn’t help it. She pressed a gentle kiss to his chin, just looking up into his eyes. “I miss you when you’re gone all week.” she said, wrapping her arms around him.

Josh had been busy with work lately and hadn’t had much time alone with Michelle. He felt bad that his schedule was so crazy because that meant leaving his wife alone with Luca for long hours on end which he wished he didn’t have to do. But the bills had to get paid somehow. It was Friday and Josh was glad, this meant he got off work early and then it was the weekend after that. Making his way out to his truck he climbed in and drove back home to his apartment. Before driving home he stopped off at the local florist and picked up Michelle her favorite flowers, as if giving her flowers would make up for him being absent, but he thought he’d give it a try. Pulling into the parking lot he shut off his truck and climbed out, he still had his steel toe boots on, his shorts and his tank top. He had been getting a rather sexy tan from working outside constantly. Grabbing his lunch box and the flowers he just bought his wife he made his way upstairs. Opening the door Josh kicked off his boots and set down is lunch box flowers in hand he made his way to their bedroom. Peeking into Luca’s room to see the sleeping baby he smiled and closed the infants door before making his way to their bedroom. Michelle was laying down facing the opposite way so Josh took advantage of it and quietly walked into the bedroom. Setting the flowers down on the night stand Josh creeped over and wrapped his arm around Michelle. “Hey beautiful.” He said in a loving tone as he pressed a soft kiss to the side of her head.

Michelle had been having a hard time lately, with Josh being gone and her having to take care of Luca, as well as studying for finals and applying to college, she didn’t have too much alone time. So after feeding Luca, she settled him into his crib, watching him for a few moments before going back to her and Josh’s room. She laid on the bed, facing the wall. She had lost all the weight from her pregnancy already and she’d actually turned out looking more or less the same as she had. The extra skin and snapped back like a rubber band and after a month and a half, the stretch marks disappeared with some cream she’d been using. She’d been missing Josh more than usual lately. Spending time with Luca was great, she loved being a mom but she loved being a wife too. So when she felt two arms wrap around her, her jumped slightly before she heard the words whispered in her ear. “Hey you.” she said, snuggling into his arms. “How was work?”
